One Country Project Issues Letter to Agriculture Committees’ Leadership Outlining Farm Bill Priorities
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, One Country Project (OCP) issued a letter to the chair and ranking members of the House and Senate Agriculture Committees with policy recommendations for the 2023 Farm Bill designed to reflect rural America’s priorities.
“When it comes to investment, for too long rural America has been left behind. The Farm Bill presents an opportunity to change that by setting an agenda for rural communities’ prosperity,” said members of the One Country Project board. “We look forward to working with Congress to ensure this momentous legislation secures the farming foundation, ensures people can continue to live and work in rural regions, and provides opportunities for rural America’s growth.”
